FAQ’s

  • We know that students today have busier schedules than ever before between part-time jobs, classes, sports, and other responsibilities. With that in mind, we have made some adjustments to the internship schedule that we believe will make it more life-giving for everyone. We’re moving from a 2 full-day schedule to a more concise 3-day schedule that will give you the maximum amount of margin while still participating in the program. This also includes removing the “every weekend“ serving requirement.

  • Students are not required to attend or serve at theChapel as part of their internship experience. In fact, we have several students who are very involved at their home churches. • Yes. As part of a leadership program with a college-like classroom atmosphere, taking notes is huge. This will also help you complete your assignments. We like to say that The Internship is like “drinking from a fire hose,” so it’s important to have something to help you process the journey. Notetakers are history-makers! You’re going to want to have a central hub to take all your notes from your classes and projects. Even if you roll old-school with a pen & notebook, it’s helpful to have an online tool like Evernote, Apple Notes, or Google Suite to help as well.

  • The Internship requires dedication, time commitment, and priorities just like any other team. We understand that limited absences are unavoidable whether you’re sick, on a family vacation, or have a minor schedule conflict. Please communicate with us & take a look at your summer calendar to see if The Internship is the best fit for you at this time. There’s also a spot on your application to let us know ahead of time if you plan to be absent any of the days.
