Ramy Awad has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of South Florida and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from University of Virginia, where he worked on modeling blood flow utilizing Computational Fluid Dynamics in the clearance regions of a magnetically levitated impeller in an artificial heart. Ramy has a successful and long track record delivering manufacturing and research projects from concept through design to release in medical device and pharmaceutical firms.
Ramy has over 25 years experience in medical devices across multiple disciplines, including orthopedics, laparoscopy, sensors, vital signs accessories, patient monitoring, catheters and introducers. He also has experience in Pharmaceuticals Aseptic operations for a number of years. Working in Manufacturing coming out of college, Ramy transitioned to R&D, Project Management, Operations Management, Quality Management, and Technical Sales. Interests include coaching young professionals, in areas of business, finance, and life coaching. Currently, Ramy is researching and finishing his first book.
